Mrs. Prince - PreK

 

Holly graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism, and a minor in Ag Business. She grew up in California, but moved to Tillamook over 20 years ago and currently lives on a dairy.  Miss Holly loves horses, barrel racing, cow horse, and, of course, her kids. Her favorite subjects are reading, writing, and science.

Mrs. Moturi - Kindergarten

 

Holly graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. After graduating, she began teaching grades 6-8 in Monroe, Washington. In 2017 she spent a year abroad in Egypt teaching 1st grade and co-teaching in the preschool. This is where she confirmed that education really was the job for her, as she loved seeing students shine when learning both academically and spiritually. Miss Holly started teaching at TAS in 2020.

 

 

Mrs. Bitter - 1st/2nd

 

Danica graduated from Walla Walla University in 2018, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education and Bible and Art endorsements. For two years, she taught 2nd-4th grade at a small school in Lynnwood, Washington. In 2020 she joined the staff at TAS.  Mrs. Bitter enjoys painting, drawing, sewing, and is trying to get into cooking. She has two dogs: Sam (husky) and Waffle (golden retriever). Her favorite subjects are Math & Science.

Mrs. Larson - 3rd/4th

Mrs. Larson graduated from Ottawa University, Ottawa Kansas in December, 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  She began her teaching career after raising her children.  Her first year teaching was in 2010, at a one- teacher school in Oklahoma.  She taught 15 students in 1st thru 8th grade. Since that time, she has taught at 3 different schools in Oklahoma and Kansas. She has taught all grade levels from PK-8th grade.  When she is not in the classroom, she loves spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loves exploring beaches, reading, playing word games, and nature walks in the mountains.

Mrs. Mitchell - 5th/6th & Music

 

Michaila completed her Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music Performance in Idaho. Mrs. Mitchell started teaching at TAS in 2022. She enjoys reading and music. Her favorite subjects are Theater, Reading, Music and History

Mr. Hunter - 7th/8th / Principal

 

Matt started teaching at TAS in 2015. He has a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Science in School Administration. Mr. Hunter enjoys playing basketball, running, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and his animals. His favorite bible verse is Philippians 3:14.

Favorite Subjects: Reading, Science
