Mrs. Prince - PreK

 

Holly has been an aide in PreK through 2nd grade.  She has been a substitute teacher at all grade levels for the past several years.  This is her third year of teaching Pre-K

 

 

Mrs. Moturi - Kindergarten

 

Holly graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. Since then she’s been teaching grades 6-8 in Monroe, Washington. In 2017 she spent a year abroad in Egypt teaching 1st grade and co-teaching in the preschool. This is where she confirmed that education really was the job for her, as she loved seeing students shine when learning both academically and spiritually. This is her third year at TAS.

 

 

Ms. Orris - 1st/2nd

 

Danica graduated from Walla Walla University in 2018, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education and Bible and Art endorsements. For two years, she taught 2nd-4th grade at a small school in Lynnwood, Washington.

This is her third year at TAS.

 

Mrs. Clark - 3rd/4th

 

Judi has been teaching for 29 years. She started teaching at TAS in 2012. Mrs. Clark has a Bachelor of Arts, and an Associate of Science. When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her 5 grandchildren and her family, beach-combing, whale watching, bird watching, archaeology, crafts and nature. Her favorite bible verse is Psalm 118:24.

Mrs. Mitchell - 5th/6th & Music

 

Michaila comes to us from Idaho, where she completed her Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music Performance. This is her second year of teaching music, and her first year of teaching 5th/6th. Mrs. Mitchell enjoys volleyball, ultimate frisbee, good food, and good books. Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10.

Mr. Hunter - 7th/8th / Principal

 

Matt started teaching at TAS in 2015 and has 9 years of experience teaching grades 5-8. He has a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Science in School Administration. Mr. Hunter enjoys playing basketball, running, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and his animals. His favorite bible verse is Philippians 3:14.
